Nayanatara as Mandodari in RGV film?

The latest gossip in the Tollywood film circles is that Nayantara might play an important role in Ram Gopal Varma’s forthcoming film based on the epic Ramayana. Weeks ago we have reported RGV tweeting to rope in Nagarjuna for the Ravana role and now, the latest we hear is Nayan got the proposal from Varma to essay Mandodhari role as Nag’s wife.

It’s not clear if Nayanthara has accepted the role. Recently, Nayan earned critical applauses for Goddess Seetha role in the mythological film Sri Rama Rajyam directed by the legendary Bapu.

On the flip side, there’s a buzz that Nayan might not take up any roles further and she also turned few of the good roles earlier like Gabbar Singh and Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu.
