Colors Swathi Kanimozhi in Telugu

Colors Swathi who tasted moderate success with her latest film Sangharshana is arriving to test her luck again with another Tamil film titled Kanimozhi. She is playing a guest role in this film. Jai who won good marks for his performance in Journey is the male lead of the film. The film is being produced by Jakkula Nageswara Rao. According to him, the film will hit the screens in January second half. Shazahn Padamsee of Orange fame plays the heroine of this untitled film.

The film was made with a budget of Rs 3 crore in Tamil and received mixed reviews. The film is written and directed by Sripathi Rangasamy. The film has won appreciation from Karunanidhi’s daughter Kanimozhi for its story line. The film was shot in 46 days. Satish Chakravarthy has scored music for this film. Currently, the dubbing formalities of the film are going on at brisk pace. The film is a romantic love story which has all the commercial elements, says the producer.
