Don2 9 Days Collections 119 Crores

 

Sharuk khan Don 2 Movie released worldwide on 23-12-2011 December by reliance entertainment in 2,850 theaters in India which includes 3D version 500 centers and the overseas release of 650 theaters in 40 countries.


Sharuk khan Don 2, 2nd day collections showed a decent jump from Friday. The film did not set any record on 1st day.


But Sharuk khan Don 2 is sure to be one of the top grosser of the year. After a 13.75 Crores 14.7 according to Taran Adarsh  first day, it may collections 15-15.25 Crores Saturday.


The two day total may be 29 Crores approximately. If it shows a good jump on Sunday, which i am sure it will, then the first weekend collections will come around 48.00 Crores which is the third best figure of the year after  Ra.1

Balakrishna 'Adhinayakudu' for Mahashivratri

 

 

Natasimha Balakrishna’s first film of the new year, Adhinayakudu is gearing up for release in February. Earlier, the film is supposed to release for pongal but due to the heavy rush  at the box office the film’s release is postponed. Now the movie is set to release 2 days before Mahashivaratri that means on February 18.

The film is being directed by Paruchuri Murali and produced by ML Kumar Chowdary. According to the producer, the film has all the elements and the director handled the subject well. The three powerful roles donned by Balayya are said to be the highlight of the film. The old get-up of Balayya is excellent and reminds us the get-up of late NTR.   

Balayya is playing three powerful characters in the film. Lakshmi Rai is playing female lead of the film, while Saloni and Charmi are seen in cameos.Jayasudha plays an important role. Kalyani Malik is composing music for Balakrishna for the first time in his career.

Srikanth as King In Nagarjuna's Shiridi Sai film

 

Nagarjuna's upcoming devotional film Shiridi Sai in the direction of K. Raghavendra Rao to begin its shooting from Feb 1st. The latest update is that Srikanth is zeroed in for a key role in Shiridi Sai film.

Sources are ata buzz that Srikanth might play the role of a king in the movie.Srikanth and Nagarjuna earlier shared screen spaces in President gari pellam, Varasudu, Ninne Premista etc.,.Nagarjuna will be seen as Shirdi Sai Baba in this film.

MM Keeravani is rendering tunes for this film while A Mahesh Reddy is producing Shiridi Sai movie under AMR Real Estate Group.

NTR Jr, Vytla Film titled ‘Action – with Entertainment’

 

 

Dookudu tema is coming up with their next film very soon. NTR Jr plays the lead role in this film directed by Srinu Vytla. Dookudu writers Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan are providing the script for this movie. This film is titled ‘Action – with Entertainment’.

NTR is currently busy with Dammu movie which is slated for summer release. He will be in ‘Action’ shortly. This film is being produced by Bandla Ganesh under Parameswara Arts banner. Kajal is roped in as the heroine for this film.

Thaman will compose music for this film. Writers say that this film will live up to its title and will be another wonderful entertainer from their team.

2011 witnessed very less hits and has seen huge disasters. Here is the list of top 5 hits (straight films) of this year.

1)      Dookudu: This sensational movie is the biggest hit of the year and all time top 2 grosser. The makers of this film claim that it is the all time no. 1 grosser, but the fact is, it stays at 2 in the all time records list.

2)      Mr. Perfect: This wholesome family entertainer turned out to be the biggest hit in Prabhas career. This was the best film in 2011 summer.

3)      Mirapakaya: Raviteja has pulled off yet another hit with Mirapakaya, which was the best Pongal film in 2011. It is one of the best grosser in Raviteja’s career.

4)      100% Love: This youthful film was lapped up by the youngsters. Sukumar is back in form and Naga Chaitanya is here to stay. It also marked the strong comeback of Tamanna.

5)      Kandireega: Ram has broken the shackles and is back on track. This is a paisa vasool mass entertainer with ample comedy.

Other hits: Ala Modalaindi is one of the notable hits of the year. Made on a very less budget, this film has turned out to be a good hit. Solo and Nuvvila did well in the small films league. Dubbed films like Kanchana, Rangam, Naa Peru Shiva and Journey brought handsome profits to the dubbing rights holders

Multi Starrer Film Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu...!

Now a days we are seeing multi-starrer films in Telugu also. Mahesh and Venky are teaming up together for a film titled “Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu” and Ram Charan and Allu Arjun are going to act together in a new film in the direction of Vamsi Paidipalli, which was launched recently.

NBK also playing guest role in Manchu Manoj’s new film “Uu Koathara Ulikki Padathara”. Jagapathi Babu has also been roped for an important role in Venkatesh’s new film to be directed by Meher Ramesh.

Now the latest buzz is that Power star Pawan Kalyan will be seen in a guest role in Mahesh babu’s future project, which will be directed by Meher Ramesh.Another buzz is that the film title will be "Gudachari 116". Earlier Mahesh Babu has given voice over for Pawan Kalyan’s film Jalsa.
